Unfortunately - Sets — Karla Monterrosa
http://www.karlamonterrosa.com/bg-sets
These are the sets used for my film " Unfortunately. They were made with cardboard, acrylic paint, construction paper, felt, and lots of hot glue and little pieces of fabric. They were shot with Dragon Stop Motion and compositing was done in After Effects.

Some Neat Things by Karla Monterrosa: September 2013
http://karlamonterrosa.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 7, 2013. Storyboards for a personal project. All the crit and advice I got at SIGGRAPH regarding my boards was that I have to be more loose and stop worrying about details in the background. A year ago, I had three reviewers told me to stop drawing boards and stick with something else, so it felt AMAZING to have people tell me that I'm doing okay. I will be attending CTN Expo. Wednesday, September 4, 2013. The summer of 2013 was beautiful and so are you. Maybe I'll edit it down? I am ...

Thursday, January 3, 2013. This is a project I worked on as part of the Motivarti. Mentorship I did last fall. It was a great experience! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I'm Karla. I was born and raised in sunny El Salvador and now I live in dreary Vancouver, BC. I like drawing storyboards, making films, watching cartoons, and drawing at coffee shops with friends. I currently work as a background artist for animation. I draw a little webcomic with my roommate Laura:. Kamontz [@] gmail.com. Art of Nikolas Ilic.
Some Neat Things by Karla Monterrosa: August 2013

Monday, August 26, 2013. As I try to get back into the habit of posting things I draw. I coloured these life drawings to try something different. These were probably 5 min poses (that I coloured in Photoshop after) and the model's name is Chloe. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I'm Karla. The Art of Rachel Shneyer: still life painting
http://rachelshneyer.blogspot.com/2013/03/still-life-painting.html
Saturday, March 30, 2013. Feeling kinda in a slump today so I pecked away at this painting so I wouldn't feel completely unproductive. On another note, I've been keeping myself busy with schoolwork and researching game design and related topics. I have a few pieces to upload at some point. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Art of Rachel Shneyer: Character for Wind Waker
http://rachelshneyer.blogspot.com/2013/04/character-for-wind-waker.html
Saturday, April 13, 2013. Character for Wind Waker. For our final assignment in Professional Applications, we got to work with art director Michael Stribling on a character design related project. We had to create a character(s) or class or creature for an existing videogame, using established design language to create something unique yet cohesive. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Art of Rachel Shneyer: En Plein Air
http://rachelshneyer.blogspot.com/2013/06/en-plein-air.html
Thursday, June 20, 2013. Went to Kafka's with Karla and Seth for the first time in a while. We sat outside and draw whatever interested us. I picked this sunny hill on somebody's property. It looked much better before I painted it, but was salvaged by the addition of the thick pen and the gouache highlights. Also drew some people in Kafka's before we left to go outside and painted them when we got back. March 5, 2014 at 6:42 PM. Great work. I love your blog. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Art of Rachel Shneyer: foundation book entry
http://rachelshneyer.blogspot.com/2012/08/foundation-book-entry.html
Tuesday, August 14, 2012. My contribution for a collaborative project my friend organized. We’re putting together an 8 page full color book based around the key locations incoming ECUAD students need to know. Even if they don’t enjoy the activity, they’ve got a sweet little book filled with creative, original illustrations. The location I chose was the print card machine and here we have a new student, nervously trying to figure it out. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
Some Neat Things by Karla Monterrosa: Happy New February!
http://karlamonterrosa.blogspot.com/2014/02/happy-new-february.html
Wednesday, February 5, 2014. I feel like I've been up to a lot since my last post. Like always, I ended the year wishing I dedicated more time to this blog. I'm still not sure if I should also upload my stuff to tumblr or what. I'm having way too much fun retumblin' weird gifs of cats with six faces and cute ducklings. Who's got time for *my* art? Look at this cat! I love this job. My friend/coworker Lou took this picture. And I stole it from his MAJESTIC instagram feed. IT'S 2014, LET'S PARTY. I draw a ...

FONTE:www.geomundo.com.br/geografia. TEXTO APLICADO AO 2º ANO.
