In 1987, on a clifftop overlooking the English Channel, Kathryn experienced the conditions which were to provide her with the material to become an artist. Her daylight images are inspired by sometimes defined, sometimes hazy horizons, shades of dark and light, both cloudy and cloudless skies and the emotions and moods which these natural phenomenon create in her.

And today, 15 months later we find ourselves with only a few paintings left. This has proved to have been the most successful collection for Kathryn Thomas Original Oil Paintings in nearly 30 years.
