Some kind of magical being of the forest, no doubt. It rained today. A lot. All day. Big fat cold rain that splattered the windows and dampened the dog and made the mud slosh my galoshes. Our first visit to a local spot, ‘The Hungry Owl’ a modern twist on some southern and cajun favorites. Really great burger, shrimp and grits to die for, wine and beer in wide selection, and true ambiance if you sit near the back of the dining room by the glass wall in front of the kitchen.
