Diary of an English garden. More rain, some sun and big greedy chicks. June 15, 2014. We have had torrents of rain, courgettes munched to nothing by greedy slugs and greedy chicks who love munching through the greedy slugs. The chicks on the other hand are growing for strength to strength and look like proper chickens now. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. More rain, some sun and big greedy chicks. Wet and miserable | The Priory Garden

Diary of an English garden. More rain, some sun and big greedy chicks →. May 28, 2014. The title just about sums up this week of non stop rain. The drive has been a river and a large pool swelled up outside the front door where the drain blocked. Johnsey reluctantly braved the outdoors to prod it a bit which helped! In fact only exciting thing that has happened is a merry row of plump radishes which we have been steadily munching through and a few little yellow tomatoes flowers popping out. You are comme...

The Woods | The Priory Garden

Diary of an English garden. At the top of the woods is a derelict garage, that used to service the quarry vehicles. Emma and Johnsey held an exhibition there and Johns hopes to use it as a studio. I have also taken inspiration from the woods in my photography and printmaking. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. Saturday, 10 January 2015. I've been too busy to look at my White Boots project for while, but have recently had a bit more free time, and spent some of it thinking of cover ideas. I haven't quite got it yet, but I've had some fun with coloured pencils. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Tweets by @katie harnett.

Diary of an English garden. Newer posts →. A rainy day in Oughtibridge. May 3, 2014. We looked out of the window on our first day in charge of The Priory Garden to a drizzly grey sky. As we peered out the back door in our pyjamas we could hear thunder rumbling in the distance. News on the Blue Ball grapevine spoke on frosts coming too. A good start then! Last of the Bare Roots. March 23, 2014. By David Austin, to look wild but lovely) and another apple tree. As we have been really happy with all our othe...
