Lake Glenbawn, Scone. Scone Aero Club operates from Scone airport with its own Licensed Club Room, training rooms and Hangar. The Hangar is currently home to 3 Aeroprakt A22 Foxbats, including the 5357 Foxbat which the club uses for RAA flight training. The Hangar has recently been upgraded with a totally new building and facilities. Most work has been completed through the voluntary efforts of members. Lake Glenbawn, Scone. Further success for Geoff Pinfold’s aeropup project. Last weekend (21 April ‘12) with two successful circuits and a near perfect 3-point landing on the grassy section at Scone airport. Geoff reported that the pup’s engine temperature was now stabilising, and handling was much improved. Further testing for the pup is planned in the coming months. See Gallery below for photos.
