Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Kids say and do the funniest things. I decided I better start writing some of these things down. Saturday, June 23, 2012. Well, better late than never. This post is dedicated to Thaine Barclay! He graced this world with his presence on February 15, 2012. My labor was fast and for that, I am so thankful. I'm also worried about baby #3 (if and when that happens). Friday, April 3, 2015. This run down of symptoms is less than comprehensive. There have been many other things that have come up in Jacob's 5 years of life that have screamed, "SENSORY! I often let good old mommy guilt get the best of me because I saw the red flags all along. I mean, I have a Master's in early childhood special ed for pete's sake! But, I have to remind myself that I made the best choices I could at the time, and the past is in the past! Now, go advocate for your kids! Open Dis A Me?

Sunday, December 8, 2013. Our Year in Review. My opening line from last year's Christmas newsletter mentions the lack of crisp, winter weather in central Texas! Now, as I sit in my recliner looking out my back door typing this post, I can see ice on the ground and snow on the rooftops. it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Lubbock! Friday, April 23, 2010. Our son, Jacob Robert, was born on April 2, 2010 at 4:53am. He weighed 8lbs, 7oz, and was 21in long. As I predicted, I don't have much time for blogging, and I never really blogged much anyway. so, you're not missing much.
