http://sincerelyabiinspired.blogspot.com/2013/02/diy-spring-moss-wreath.html
DIY Spring Moss Wreath. This is the longest part of winter in my opinion. Once we reach mid-February, I become quite done with the weather and begin the transition to spring decor in our home even if the snow and bare trees and chilly temps suggest that spring is nowhere near! An evergreen wreath still hung on our front door a week ago, and so I decided it was time to work on a new one. I thought a moss wreath would provide an earthy and fresh spring look, and so I picked up supplies to craft one:. I lov...

Last Minute Gift Guide. In running errands this morning, it is entirely clear to me that Christmas is almost here! I hope that your preparations are coming along well. I want to offer a few last minute gift ideas that have come in handy for me this year. 1 An amaryllis. My husband picked up one for me this year, and I love watching it bloom. Super Simple Cupcake Party. As I mentioned in my previous post, our daughter just turned two. We love celebrating her, and yet a party sandwiched between Christmas and New Year's is a challenge. DIY Orchid Burlap Wreath. It is officially spring, and here in Michigan it is slowly starting to feel like winter may actually come to a close. I am putting out spring decor even if there is still snow on the ground, and I crafted a new spring wreath to share. I like putting materials together that are a bit unexpected, and so a delicate orchid placed on burlap seemed to be a fun pairing. Burlap ribbon or strips of burlap. Artificial orchids (I purchased ones with a wire stem). Satin or grosgrain ribbon.
