Kelsey's African Kindergarten Adventures. Tuesday, February 26, 2013. This is a special birthday message to my mom! I also thought people might enjoy seeing this video of my kids, some speaking their native languages :). Wednesday, February 6, 2013. I already did pray for her." "I did too! Kelsey's African Kindergarten Adventures: July 2013

http://www.kelseyinkigali.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html

Kelsey's African Kindergarten Adventures. Tuesday, July 2, 2013. In no particular order. The children at Home of Hope Orphanage. The street boys at the Hope for Life home. The neighbor children at Hope for Life. The thousands of hills in this country. The Younglife campaigners kids. Body and Soul weekly work out classes. Worshiping with my staff. Seeing baby feet sticking out the sides of mothers walking down the street (because all babies here ride piggy-back and are tied on to their mothers by fabric).

And since its been a little bit (ok a lot of bit) of time since I've posted in this blog, I thought I've finally come up with idea of something to share. I know many of you have been asking me to update my blog, but I have to be honest, its hard! So this is how my day, TODAY (and most days) has looked like:. 5:30: Roll out of bed and go for a run (Disclaimer: This NEVER happens!

Kelsey's African Kindergarten Adventures: April 2013

http://www.kelseyinkigali.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html

Kelsey's African Kindergarten Adventures. Wednesday, April 17, 2013. It's hard to believe I have already been here for over 8 months! I've really grown to love this country, the incredible school I work at, the precious children I get to teach everyday, and overall just the lifestyle. I've really gotten pretty used to the way things work around here, but I thought it would be interesting to share some of the things that are just a little bit different. You have power :). Rain: It affects EVERYTHING. ...

My year as an exchange student in India with Rotary Youth Exchange. Friday, April 29. Gahhhh. sorry I haven't posted this (or anything else) in a while, it's not even like I've been that busy. Last weekend I drove with my dad and another doctor from the city about 6 and a half hours to a wedding in Guna. The bride with her father and uncle under the canopy that she arrived to the reception under. Her mother is behind her father holding the canopy up. The wedding party making their way to the stage. Wednesday, May 25, 2011. As a teacher in Indonesia I prepared many lessons for my students; but, I have also learned a few lessons of my own. Here I have made a list of the top 9 lessons I have learned in as many months. But I have learned to eat entire fish with my hands.although I was never brave enough to eat the head. Sunday, May 15, 2011. This video shows a traditional Malayu dance performed by my students. Click on this link to view it. Brian and I both hate Melayu Fridays for obvious reasons.

Kelsey in Japan

Saturday, February 11, 2006. Hummmwhat can I say? That this feels majorly lame? Ok as Segal would say, "That's laaammme.". But really, everyone's doing it, so I might as well. That excuse justified a lot of things for me back in the day. Well, today I went to church. Today was "World Marriage Day" and couples could renew their vows after mass. How sad and lame was that? Not to mention I wasn't even a couple today. I was alone. Anyways, Starbucks afterwards. That green girl can make anyone feel better.

Zambia

Sunday, November 28, 2010. The safari was more than I could have ever asked for. During our drives we saw everything possible. Many people have been to the Serengeti many times without seeing lions, leopards, or cheetahs, yet we saw all three. I cam within five feet of a female lions and was able to see 4 cheetahs. Tuesday, November 16, 2010. Saturday, November 13, 2010. After only three months overseas, the barrier of language has already become very frustrating. I spent my entire time in Zambia str...

Kelsey in Paris!

Friday, September 26, 2008. Okay so I am FINALLY putting up some pictures for everyone! This picture was definitely inspired by the episode of America's Next Top Model where they all cram into the phone booth and have a photo shoot. My photo shoot however was a lot more awkward and short lived because there were people talking in the phone booth next to it and there were also people waiting to use the phone. Sydney, me and Claire in front of Big Ben. Me in front of trafalgar square. Long time no post.
