I'd Rather be Knitting: December 2007
http://jo028.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
I'd Rather be Knitting. A Journal of My Knitterly Life. Wednesday, 5 December 2007. Well, not quite chocolate but the same colour as the wrapper! I got this far before realising the pattern is wrong:. The stated number of stitches don't equate to the finished measurement they put on the pattern. It was coming out far too big, so I ripped the body back to the ribs and re-knitted the smaller size. (I couldn't face re-doing the ribs too). My new knit is Twist. Wednesday, December 05, 2007. I'd Rather be Knitting: Diary of a Rogue Hoodie
http://jo028.blogspot.com/2007/10/rogue-hoodie.html
I'd Rather be Knitting. A Journal of My Knitterly Life. Saturday, 20 October 2007. Diary of a Rogue Hoodie. I've been dying to own one of these since I first saw the pattern. Definitely out of my league knitwise, but I still want one and I'm not going to let a load of wool beat me! I got the yarn ages ago from Wolle Hartmuth, it's Austermann Revue a pure merino aran weight and machine washable too. It's a turquoisey/teal kind of shade. What she fails to tell you is how the hell you do this. Why write...

artyfartykat: February 2011
http://artyfartykat.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
The trials, tribulations and occasional successes of a craft addict. Thursday, February 24, 2011. The problem with having a room for all my crafting goodies is its just too easy to stash another purchase in, and think, 'well I'll use up the other stuff first' and then close the door. Then I buy something else, think 'well I'll use up the other stuff first' and.you get the picture! And decided to start a small project. I decided on some mindless socks in a Posh Yarn of long forgotton colourway. I have also...

artyfartykat: I'm Alive!
http://artyfartykat.blogspot.com/2013/06/im-alive.html
The trials, tribulations and occasional successes of a craft addict. Sunday, June 23, 2013. I know.it is a bit of a shock! It's been a long while since I posted, but the urge just came over me! I wanted to post a photo of the cushion I made for Junes birthday. It;s patchwork, in a design called cathedral window, I believe. I love this design and really enjoyed stitching it. I find hand stitching so relaxing.making the cushion was slightly more stressful! I must learn how to do zips! From the sheeps back.

artyfartykat: Out Of Quarantine!
http://artyfartykat.blogspot.com/2009/08/out-of-quarantine.html
The trials, tribulations and occasional successes of a craft addict. Saturday, August 15, 2009. I'm now officially swine flu free and to celebrate the fact, we took off on a last minute camping trip to Ullswater! Yes I did say camping, not the luxury of the caravan or even a tent that you could sit up in but a tent about the size of a coffin! It was supposedly a 2 man size tent but I'm thinking of sueing them under the Trade Descriptions Act! We were like sardines in a tin but with not as much space!

artyfartykat: January 2011
http://artyfartykat.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
The trials, tribulations and occasional successes of a craft addict. Monday, January 17, 2011. The third Monday in January is, according to statistics, the most depressing day of the year! Mmm, maybe they are right! To banish those blues, I decided to put some pics on my blog and cheer myself up! I've finally taken a photo of Ians Christmas socks, not the best picture, but where are all the foot models when you need them? These were knit in Lana Grossa mega boot stretch, or mega stretch boot or something!

artyfartykat: July 2012
http://artyfartykat.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
The trials, tribulations and occasional successes of a craft addict. Saturday, July 28, 2012. Yes, I am posting and I know it's been a long, long time since I did, but I'm hopefully going to keep posting more regularly now. I think the blog will be different and just be about all the things I do, not just fibre stuff, but my other interests too. As usual, I've been dabbling in various crafts, trying new ones, just in case I didn't have enough to play with! Some of the 150 quilt 'flowers'. I also went to a...

artyfartykat: March 2011
http://artyfartykat.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
The trials, tribulations and occasional successes of a craft addict. Sunday, March 20, 2011. When you are feeling as though the dark days will never pass and struggling through the mud of life, its amazing what a day with friends can do. I spent a wonderful day last week with two of my dearest friends. We had a day of talking lots, eating beautiful food and even managed to squeeze in some crafting! Sounds much more painful than a 'dodgy knee'! The dafter the better! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
