The Estate is in the heart of Speyside, 2 miles for the village of Archiestown and 5 from Aberlour. The are is well served with a specialist delicatessen, butcher, old fashioned ironmongers, newsagent and Co-op supermarket. Deliveries are available from shops in Aberlour as well as supermarket chains online grocery services. 30 miles to the south west is Aviemore, famous for its winter sports. Mountain-biking, walking and site seeing are also very popular activity in the beautiful Rothiemurchus Estate.

Shooting at Knockando is conducted under the supervision of the Estate Gamekeeper, Willie Smith, and can be booked through the main Estate Office. Deer Stalking for both Roe and Red deer can be enjoyed throughout the estate. Roe stalking outings can be arranged for fishing clients during their week if required. Driven Pheasant Shoots can be arranged between November and January for parties of 8 guns. Please call the Estate Office on 07919 183 260. Or contact the Estate Office.

Knockando Estate currently has limited availability on day fishing on all 3 beats for early/late season. For further details please contact the Estate Office. Knockando has three and a half miles of prime double bank fishing on the River Spey, split into three adjoining beats. Lower Pitchroy is the top beat and can accommodate parties of up to four rods.
