Cohen taught us how to play color tag. It might have gotten a little competitive among the adults! Sparklers to finish off the evening before we tucked some boys in the tents. Riley immediately came inside with me. Cohen, and Justin had to come in at 2:00 am due to the rain…only cell of rain in the state of Illinois and just happened to be over their tents! Our Ri turned five! The birthday bonfire didn't happen because of the excessive heat, but he did get a bonfire/camping cake, plus lots of fun with family and friends and on his birthday, lunch at Fujiyama. He also got all his favorites: tea log, dirt dessert, little cups of ice cream, hot dogs, watermelon on a stick and orange chips! Friday, July 16, 2010. I love 4th of July and was excited for the excuse to dress cute and try to get some family pictures. I love my husband even more for cooperating and matching us. And thanks to Grandma Snow for taking some really cute pictures! Luckily it really didn't rain and we never saw any lightening. Mason was a champ and slept the whole night. The next day we just hung out, ate lunch, and enjoyed the out doors. It was a great trip and we can't wait to go again! While Dad gets the tent setup.
