http://snipershoots.blogspot.com/2010/07/faces-and-names.html
Posts from an arbit mind. On Jul 27, 2010. I'm feeling particularly poetic aajkal. For some godforesaken reason. Here goes the next poem then (hopefully won't be a torture):. In the nights, someone calls out to me,. I shout ‘Hark! 8217; Who may you be? The face is new, the name is old;. And I am left standing, cold! The gates open, memories flood in,. I’m moving on, is looking back a sin? Why do past and present entangle;. Do complicate matters, my mind they mangle! Wanted posters mock me, crying foul;.

Arbit-raag: Arbit goes to the Movies - Part Uno
http://snipershoots.blogspot.com/2010/01/arbit-goes-to-movies-part-uno.html
Posts from an arbit mind. Arbit goes to the Movies - Part Uno. On Jan 20, 2010. One fine day, Arbit decided to watch an English movie dubbed in Hindi. For what reason, I have no idea. It's almost like committing movie-suicide. Imagine going to watch Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider. The auditorium goes dark. The credits roll. Lo and behold, you are watching 'Khoonkhar Sherni'! Now, all this is fine. But I don't fathom why you need to change the names of the characters! If you want to know more here it is.

Posts from an arbit mind. Happy New Year All. On Dec 31, 2009. Have fun.try and enjoy life.and hope you have a better year than this one :). Links to this post. On Dec 30, 2009. This is a poem by William Ernest Henley that I recently read. I've been thoroughly impressed, inspired and affected by it. This was a poem that Nelson Mandela allegedly read to himself during the 30 years of his incarceration at Robben Island. Even without that, it is an amazing piece of work. Out of the night that covers me,.

Arbit-raag: The Pauper And The Princess
http://snipershoots.blogspot.com/2010/07/pauper-and-princess.html
Posts from an arbit mind. The Pauper And The Princess. On Jul 31, 2010. And the poetic naan. Was it all a mistake, or was she indeed his life-saver? How could he think of someone as ethereal as her! The pauper can only dream of palaces beyond;. For him, there is no magic wand. Her beauty was exquisite, her elegance resplendent,. A commoner’s praise could only be an affront. As she waved out to the thronging multitude;. He stayed away from the plaza, self-curfewed. Come rain, storm or hail,.

ഒത്തിരി നേരമ്പോക്ക്, ഇത്തിരി ദര്ശനം. Saturday, April 10, 2010. The Definition of Sehwagology. The first time I came across "Sehwagology" was in Kuttappan's Blog. Being a fan I quickly soaked the word up and set upon using it like Maslow's Hammer. Seems only the word is new, its essence was captured years go by C L R James in his seminal "Beyond a Boundary". Reading the book, I was struck by how perfectly James' vision matched Sehwagology. Here is James. Links to this post. Labels: C L R James.

http://snipershoots.blogspot.com/2010/07/my-swinging-carousel.html
Posts from an arbit mind. On Jul 25, 2010. The lights have been turned down,. I’m the only one left in circus town. The neighbors revel in their carousal;. While I drive my swinging carousel. People come, ride and go,. Giddy with adrenaline, they stagger out. While I prepare for the next show;. Bound by the dream that lies without. The stars in the distance fade away,. As the dark night turns into day. The clowns troop in pantomime;. The show starts again, leaving me begrime. Readers, Not Followers.

Monthly Archives: April 2011. Rule us, Google! April 27, 2011. Not a week passes by without one being forced into a conversation with a suspicious-looking fellow who thinks Google is out to get us. Between furtive glances hither and thither, the fellow proceeds to tell one – “Google has too much power, man! 8221; He elucidates more on privacy fears (Google could see him lie naked on his terrace if they want to!
