On the other side: August 2006
http://othersideoftheglobe.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
On the other side. Experiencing the other side of the globe. Friday, August 25, 2006. Surfing in Byron, Cruising in Fraser. Well I skipped the whole Brisbane because I'm not really interested to burn my money in the cities. I had some good surf in the Byron and managed to get my first waves with the 6.3" surfboard. Friday, August 18, 2006. On the road again. A bit off topic: I have a stats-application running on this website which allows me to see if someone gets into the site by using google and the key...

On the other side: January 2007
http://othersideoftheglobe.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
On the other side. Experiencing the other side of the globe. Thursday, January 25, 2007. Wooh, it feels weird but I'm also really excited since I'm going back to Finland soon. I've been away 13months now and I'm really keen feeling the proper Finnish winter again. It's around 35 degrees here in Kuala Lumpur and -20 in my home town so the climate difference will be around 55 degrees. Nothing to a sauna-toughened body. Madam Kwan's Nasi Lemak. Wednesday, January 24, 2007. Genting Highlands, Malaysia. Getti...

On the other side: Returning Finland
http://othersideoftheglobe.blogspot.com/2007/02/returning-finland.html
On the other side. Experiencing the other side of the globe. Friday, February 09, 2007. I didn't want to write this post too soon after coming back. The reason is that I wanted to give myself some time to settle down and see if I experience some kind of enlightenment, some kind of higher level of self-consciousness, see if I've got a different point of view about things in here. On the other side. Experiencing the other side of the globe. Tuesday, January 23, 2007. Even when people say Phi Phi has changed I still think it's a great place for young people to go for a holiday. We said goodbyes to our German friend Stefan and headed towards Phuket airport for our journey to Kuala Lumpur and Genting highlands. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Madam Kwans Nasi Lemak. On the other side. Experiencing the other side of the globe. Wednesday, January 17, 2007. Ao Nang and around. Ok we ordered the suits and got them as well. Cashmere with stripes. Business look at the best! We also met a girl from my home university in Finland and she was staying in Ao Nang with her sister. After big farewell party I had to say second goodbyes to my good friend Andy. He was heading to Northern Thailand and Chiang Mai and was planning to do some meditation there. Crazy guy.

On the other side: Koh Lanta
http://othersideoftheglobe.blogspot.com/2007/01/koh-lanta.html
On the other side. Experiencing the other side of the globe. Tuesday, January 23, 2007. Koh Lanta is located just South of Krabi. It's pretty laid back island compared to the nearby Koh Phi Phi. You can get a ferry to Koh Lanta from Phi Phi or from Krabi. We took a minivan from Krabi straight to Lanta, ticket included 2 ferry trips. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Madam Kwans Nasi Lemak. On the other side: July 2006
http://othersideoftheglobe.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
On the other side. Experiencing the other side of the globe. Saturday, July 29, 2006. Spoiled by the scenery in Queenstown. In the beginning of this week I did some hiking around the Queenstown area and did a 5h "climb" to one of the mountains next to Queenstown. I couldn't make it to the summit since it's a winter and the track is pretty icy and snowy but I managed to find a really good viewpoint again without any tourists. I only saw a pack of (wild? Which was pretty all right with many different kind ...

http://othersideoftheglobe.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
On the other side. Experiencing the other side of the globe. Monday, November 27, 2006. After great surf at long beach in Robe and scenic drive through the Great ocean road I'm here in Melbourne. Nice looking city but the traffic is quite challenging with hook turns and trams. One of my childhood friends Harri is coming here tomorrow. I'll meet him at the airport. It's gonna be interesting to speak Finnish again. From Esperance to Adelaide. Friday, November 24, 2006. John gave me some great surfing tips ...
