LYSA All Summer Racing Series kicks off every year on the Thursday evening following Opening Day in May. The first horn for racing is always at 6:30 pm The series is broken up into two 8 race halves with racing continuing into September. Awards are presented at the End of Year Party for boats placing in either half and for combined overall results.

It’s an unpaved regional trail loop around Lake Youngs, rolling hills (mostly), very fast, less than 900 ft elevation gain per loop, 40 meters of pavement, an aid station at the end of each loop near the Start/Finish line, and my now famous BBQ at the finish. In June the trail can be dusty, muddy, or both. 60k Ultra Entry Fee.
