Lancashire Lass in Italy. February 3, 2015. I've just made a second batch of our favourite 'Chuckit' soup. First made by accident but now with precision! Every ingredient being noted as present and correct by my husband who often moans that I can never produce the same dish twice because I haven't a clue what I've put in it! This wouldn't matter if it was something he didn't like but unfortunately it's usually something he's really enjoyed. The ingredients are as colourful as the soup itself is delicious.

Lancashire Lass in Italy. February 7, 2015. I can't believe that it's snowing yet again! Large, floaty beautiful flakes. So maybe we will be eating in again tonight? Just in case there's a big bubbly pot of Chilli con Carne. On one of our two hot plates and it smells divine! I love making chilli because it's easy, quick, healthy and non-messy. It also freezes really well and so is a great back-up for those fast but nutrious meals. In a very large pot. 2 tins of chopped tomatoes. Peas about two cups.
