Grayling and Trout fishing. Every morning we serve a hearty Swedish breakfast in our cozy kitchen on the ground floor of our house. If you have booked full board you will find a delicious Swedish meal waiting for you after a hard day’s angling. We eat the lunch at a campfire at the riverbanks. So really adventurous! The enthusiast can go in the original wood-fired Finnish sauna (for a small fee). This sauna is located in a log cabin behind the house and is situated on the edge of the forest.

Grayling and Trout fishing. A true fly fishing Paradise. This river is so special that they organized here in 2001 as in 2005 the world championships flyfishing. The river has a very good trout- and grayling stock. The graylings are presented in very large numbers, and the average size is about 30 centimeters. But every season we catch several 50 ’s and the record is set in the season 2013 with a grayling of even 63 centimeters! Moreover the Juktån is known for its large trouts.

From the early beginning we travelled consistently with a rented camper through Norway and Sweden. Never staying long on one place, we tried to see as much as possible in three weeks. He taught us to find our way in nature, how to walk through the swamp, which water is drinkable and which not, how to make fire even if the wood is wet, how to prepare the various fish species and how to dry meat in the open air.
