Em and Gav Euro stylin'. Wednesday, August 31, 2005. Goodbye England, Bounjour France! We've just spent the last week crusing around the Basque country in South West France and nth Spain. The first stop was Biarritz, France - the surf capital of Europe. Gav was pretty stoked to be back in the water on a 'planche de surf' surfing in just his boardshorts. This is a bit belated, but here are some pics of our recent visitors to London - Kingos in early July and then the Dixons in late July/August. Kingos' visit inspired a trip to sunny Brighton with the Forts, complete with a long lunch and a wander around the cheesy Brighton Pavilion. Let's just say it's not quite Manly beach but the pebbles were surprisingly comfortable to lie on! Beers on the beach. Dickens loves his cider!

Em and Gav Euro stylin'. Wednesday, May 10, 2006. Last days in France - Part 1. With our ski working holiday coming to a close we spent the last week cleaning the chalet, catching up with friends and trying to get as much skiing and boarding in as we possibly could! The clean up itself was a pretty almighty task. The top 3 worst jobs would have to be;. 1 - Cleaning the industrial sized overhead fan - it's amazing how much grease that builds up in this sucker after cooking for 18 people, 6 days a week!
