Penning Historical Tales One Page At A Time . . . Friday, June 29, 2012. I love to travel, and part of the fun for me is visiting libraries, old historic homes and sites, and museums. I always research museums before I leave, even looking at exhibits on-line, signing up for special tours and timing the visit. One of my favorite museums ever was in Bath, England. The Wax Tablet: shoe stuff
http://waxtablet.blogspot.com/2004/12/shoe-stuff.html
Living la vida roma! This morning I had three teeth pulled out, which has put me in a pretty crappy mood. Other than that, I've been working on some shoe lasts, and playing GTS San Andreas- I alternate. I made the lasts in three pieces so I can hopefully build the whole show, minus the outer lugsoles, and then remove the last. Well see. Posted by Florentius at 5:24 PM. Hmmmm Crappy mood. The Vicodin might help that, but um no you won't take any. :). December 21, 2004 at 6:11 PM. View my complete profile.

The Wax Tablet: These cool groups...

Living la vida roma! These two groups have lately captured my attention with their websites. Both are well worth spending a little time looking through. I can't help but be envious of any Legion that has the capability of "doing their thing" at a real Roman site, but regardless of that, there is some nice quality work going on. LEG VIII AUGUSTA Vexillation. Be sure to go to the archive page in the photos section, scroll to the bottom and look through the photos from The Vindonessa Museum. Awesome!

Living la vida roma! Posted by Florentius at 8:57 PM. Nice socks where'd you get them? December 29, 2004 at 7:30 PM. Those shoes look awesome? Do you do women's shoes as well? Only thing I did different was I used a felt boot liner to make the pattern. Thank you for the awesome page. May 13, 2014 at 4:44 PM. View my complete profile.
