A family of four. Wednesday, January 14, 2015. We just crossed into Florida! Not bad for having stopped at least 8 times so far! Aspen had two false alarms early this morning but she's been excellent ever since! They have watched nearly two movies and one short video. Thankfully we've got awesome friends and family who helped supply the kids with tons of activities for the van. Dry erase markers, coloring books, new toys, books, and babies. Say a prayer they rest for a while. So far so good.

That is the best medicine. Sleeping in your own bed can never be equaled. A family of four. Thursday, December 12, 2013. Today we sit here at the hospital again. But thankfully it's our last time! Today is Anthony's one month check-up and his biopsy on the new kidney. It's a routine check up procedure performed on every transplanted kidney patient. Just checking to make sure the kidney is working properly and is showing no signs of dying tissue or rejection. A family of four. Wednesday, September 10, 2014. I love that Aspen talks like Gollum from Lord of the Rings! She puts -ies on the end of so many things. A family of four. Saturday, July 5, 2014. July 4, 2014. Agesit feels like ages have passed! We were pretty low-key for the 4th of July this year. We headed to Morganton to see the festival, but it really turned out to be a bust. Several food vendors selling fried everything, and some guys selling junk for $6. Seriously. A family of four. Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? Wellit has come and gone. Our first big together birthday bash was a fabulous success! They came, they played, they ate.and they didn't want to leave! Check out my tissue puffs! Erin made them for me. There's even a goldfish hanging on the left. They were beautiful and better than I even expected! They are actually still hanging in my kitchen because I don't want to take them down! I must say they both LOVED their cakes...

A family of four. Wednesday, July 17, 2013. We celebrated the 4th of July in ALL American style! We went to Sonic for a bacon cheddar pretzel dog.and might I say it was incredibly yummy! Look at our family picture! Aren't we so patriotic? I LOVE this picture! After our pretzel dogs we went up to the "Pupcake place" in Morganton. Lincoln LOVES it up there! It's actually called My Local Bakery and the pupcakes are to die for! He loved his sparklers! But, that's the norm around here these days!

A family of four. Thursday, January 15, 2015. So far today we've had some pretty interesting experiences. We decided to go on a time share tour to get cheaper Disney tickets. We will never never never do that again! The children are finally taking a nap and Anthony is on his way to the airport to pick up the grandparents.
