Finding your purpose – Life in the Sick Lane

https://lifeinthesicklane.wordpress.com/2016/09/26/finding-your-purpose

Life in the Sick Lane. I wrote a bit on my other blog. About my latest struggles with trying and not being able to go through with plans. I deliberately put it on that blog (which I plan to share with friends in the future), because I often feel people don’t understand how tough it can be mentally to sit at home and not having a purpose, and when you think you found one, not being able to do it, or having to cancel plans on people. You are also so hopeful! That’s what keeps you positive! I am, in any cas...

A very strange week – Life in the Sick Lane

https://lifeinthesicklane.wordpress.com/2016/09/22/a-very-strange-week

Life in the Sick Lane. A very strange week. A very strange week. Well besides those horrible grey and bald spots appearing thanks to stress and thyroid. Those issues still need to be addressed. But at least I felt instantly better about myself and that, to be quite frank, is something I could use quite well after the past week. Posted in chronic fatigue syndrome. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Visualisation – Life in the Sick Lane

https://lifeinthesicklane.wordpress.com/2016/09/12/visualisation

Life in the Sick Lane. This morning, I was reading this article. By the amazing Toni Bernhard. And it made me think back on how much I use this technique myself. It was a help then, it is a help now. When I am in bed, in pain, fatigued, or anxious, I transport myself to another place, I imagine I am with certain people, I place myself into stories I’ve been reading or watching; I try anything to distract myself from the pain and heartache I am experiencing. It so helps. Posted in chronic fatigue syndrome.

New Year Post – Life in the Sick Lane

https://lifeinthesicklane.wordpress.com/2017/01/02/new-year-post

Life in the Sick Lane. I wish each one of you reading this above all a year in which your health, both physical and mental, is/becomes more manageable either physically or mentally, and that you find happiness in the smallest of ways through the hardship of being ill. It’s been a very strangely busy, but also not, three months for me. A lot of different things happened, but a lot stayed the same too. Almost too complicated to tell in one blog post. Yet I will try to do so. May 2017 be kind to us all!

Life in the 'shwa

I live in the white bread city of Oshawa, Ontario, better known as the 'shwa, where I'm loving life as a newlywed and the chaos of our lives that includes two big dogs (borzoi) and two overly affectionate cats in a tiny 1940s house we're trying to whip into shape. Just another WordPress.com site. I’ll be right back! November 15, 2011. How things have changed from the last time I blogged. I know it’s been a while, but I have been busy giving birth to Baby Singh. yup! It’s true, he came a bit early, I guess he couldn’t wait any longer, and didn’t really wanna be a Christmas baby.
