Sunday, February 22, 2015. We FINALLY had a snow/ice day. 3 days at home with my 2 girls was heaven on earth for me. For some reason I cannot get this pic to upload correctly! It was like a dream come true. We slept late, played, napped, cooked, baked, sat by the fire, and cuddled and hugged and gave kisses ALOT. Saturday, July 7, 2012. After the graduation we all (the entire Hampton clan) headed to Destin for our "Hampton Family Vacation". R and I LOVE the beach. We are self-proclaimed beach bums. I mean, I could lay out all day (yes, I said "lay out"). Ryan on the other hand was not instantly sold. She did NOT like the sand. Her shoes were off but she immediately demanded "Put my shoes on! I don't like on my foot! This is where we stayed. The beach house was fabulous. We had our own pool. Time for the beach!

Life on a rock. January 9, 2011. We went to Belmont Estates the other day which I have always wanted to visit as I’ve heard wonderful things about it. Belmont Estates is a 17th century plantation which has exquisite gardens, cocoa processing plant, a fabulous restaurant, and a goat cheese dairy farm. First we took a little tour of the plantations history and how they make cocoa. I was surprised to learn what cocoa actually comes from which has no resemblance to chocolate at all.
