Fiber Fun And Me: March 2014
http://fiberfunandme.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Fiber Fun And Me. Sharing my love of knitting, crochet, spinning and other things. Saturday, March 29, 2014. March Events And FO's. When is it ever going to end? And whatever happened to that little diddy about March. "In like a Lion, out like a Lamb." Lamb my a! I don't call this going out mildly, or peacefully or anything like it. And now it's planning to ruin the start of April as well. There is one flower at the top, and two at the bottom. Are they beautiful, or what? The first hat I made has the gre...

Fiber Fun And Me: Spring Is Busting Out All Over................. Hooray!
http://fiberfunandme.blogspot.com/2015/05/spring-is-busting-out-all-over-hooray.html
Fiber Fun And Me. Sharing my love of knitting, crochet, spinning and other things. Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Spring Is Busting Out All Over. Hooray! Finally, more than just the Daffodils are blooming here in Lake Como. Actually, since the weather has been exceptionally warm for this early in May, everything has popped open very quickly, and we went from tiny buds to fully formed leaves in about 24 hours, and the same with the flowering shrubs and trees. My Japanese Red Maple is looking really good too. ...

Fiber Fun And Me: Idle Hands are the Devil's Workshop......................
http://fiberfunandme.blogspot.com/2015/05/idle-hands-are-devils-workshop.html
Fiber Fun And Me. Sharing my love of knitting, crochet, spinning and other things. Friday, May 8, 2015. Idle Hands are the Devil's Workshop. First, again using the pattern from Attic 24 blog. This is a close up, and I think the colored yarn worked up really well with this pattern. At first, Sascha was wary of it, and wanted nothing to do with it. But after a while, after a few hours of inspection, making sure it was "safe," it was tested, and found to be rather nice. Sascha - this morning. Congratulation...

Fiber Fun And Me: June - Spring is gone and Summer is begun.............
http://fiberfunandme.blogspot.com/2015/06/june-spring-is-gone-and-summer-is-begun.html
Fiber Fun And Me. Sharing my love of knitting, crochet, spinning and other things. Saturday, June 13, 2015. June - Spring is gone and Summer is begun. Tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, are being grown from my seed. Started tomatoes and cukes early, and they are doing very good, as are the radishes that were planted directly into the ground as seed. These days the garden is much smaller, but at least it's better than no garden at all. :). This is Bernat Yarns #220 Baby Hoodie. I have to say, this pattern was...

Fiber Fun And Me: It's Fawning Time In The Mountains ..............
http://fiberfunandme.blogspot.com/2015/06/its-fawning-time-in-mountains.html
Fiber Fun And Me. Sharing my love of knitting, crochet, spinning and other things. Sunday, June 14, 2015. It's Fawning Time In The Mountains . Mom and Fawn - I doubt more than a week old. Looking for whatever mischief he/she can find to get into, I bet. Fawn had a lot of fun running in circles around Mom, the trees, and whatever. Mom is saying "Time to go.". Disappearing into the high grasses and on their way. I hope sharing these has put a smile on your face, because it sure put a smile on mine. Yes, I ...

Fiber Fun And Me: October 2014
http://fiberfunandme.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Fiber Fun And Me. Sharing my love of knitting, crochet, spinning and other things. Wednesday, October 22, 2014. First Time - 2 Socks On 1 Needle. Thanks to the simplicity and ease of knitting socks using the Fish Kiss Lips Heel by Sox Therapist (on Ravelry), I made my first pair of socks, knitting 2 at a time on a single circular needle. Here, I'm finished both heels, which are done one at a time, but it's just so easy knitting this heel, it was really much simpler than I ever expected it could be. Quite...

Fiber Fun And Me. Sharing my love of knitting, crochet, spinning and other things. Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Christmas 2014 - Gifts Received. I received some wonderful gifts from my family and friends, and since most of them were hand made, I want to share them with everyone. First is my wonderful soft and beautiful Tied Quilt, made for me by my dear friend Corinne. I've heard of these quilts before, but never actually seen one. Now I own one, and oh my, is it warm and cuddly. And this gift is not hand m...

Fiber Fun And Me: Mid- June Update........
http://fiberfunandme.blogspot.com/2015/06/mid-june-update.html
Fiber Fun And Me. Sharing my love of knitting, crochet, spinning and other things. Sunday, June 21, 2015. As you can see, some of the radishes got so big, so fast, they have begun splitting right open. I got them just in time, because I'm sure some hungry little critter would have enjoyed them quickly enough, if I had not. The pattern can be found here: Knitting On The Net. After I completed the sweater, I went back to working on the rippled afghan I had started around the same time. Thank you Linda,.

Fiber Fun And Me: July 2014
http://fiberfunandme.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Fiber Fun And Me. Sharing my love of knitting, crochet, spinning and other things. Monday, July 28, 2014. An Update On Sascha and Keira. On Wednesday, July 23rd, the "girls" saw the Vet, and I took this photo as they were recuperating, after their surgery. I don't know what they Vet uses to knock them out, but they were "hung over" for a good 12 hours or more, and very lethargic for a full 24 hours. By Thursday evening, they were feeling more like themselves, and started playing in earnest. My daughter g...

Fiber Fun And Me: July 2015
http://fiberfunandme.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Fiber Fun And Me. Sharing my love of knitting, crochet, spinning and other things. Friday, July 17, 2015. It's Mid July, Summer is Half Gone. :*(. Warning: lots of photos today :). But I have kept my knitting needles and my crochet hook busy, just the same. So that is exactly what I did. So I pulled out my favorite bib pattern from Bernat, made for use with Lily Sugar 'n Cream. Then, on to the baby socks. This is the "Basice Opal Baby Sock". The blanket is again, from the Attic 24 blog. Lucky for me....
