Monday, September 30, 2013. Jack's new daycare has finally opened which is very exciting. However, it was sad to say goodbye to the wonderful people who have been taking care of him since the beginning. Thank you mrs Brittney. Thank you mrs Heather. They even threw him a going away party. He really enjoyed his cookie cake. And as a going away present they got him a box of Cheerios. For those of you unaware, our son is ADDICTED to Cheerios. What a perfect gift! Now on to new memories. Thursday, January 31, 2013. Kisses and Hugs - Big Brother Love. I'm so happy we were able to capture the first moment John Henry met and got to meet (and touch) Schuler. And after that moment, if Schuler's around, John Henry wants to be as close as possible. Close enough to touch at all times. John Henry's favorite place to kiss Schuler is the top of his head. For the first month we tried to hold him back for fear he would smother the poor child. Even if we have visitors. And even if Daddy is holding him.

Saturday, May 11, 2013. Peek into the future. Thursday, May 2, 2013. I think we've hit the part of the two year old development that involves a lot of conversations regarding feelings. It's more than the famous line, "I don't want to" or "I don't like it" and more like, "I'm scared". Scared? Sometimes it's a loud noise like a blower or airplane. Other times it's something that's not real, like a monster. Tonight John Henry screamed, "Mom, Dad, there's an alligator in my bed. I'm not. No A for effort.

Wednesday, August 28, 2013. In case I forget. Two crazy things happened today:. 1 John Henry went all day in underwear without an accident! He started potty camp at school this week and today was his first day without an accident. 2 Schuler took two steps on his own. (He also added two new words to his vocabulary. One little. two little. three little. Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Rachel here. February was madness. We just moved into our house, Bryan was out of town during the weeks. the house was mayhem. We still had guests and traveled. we should probably slow down. :). There was more snow. Isn't our view dreamy? That's from my bed. Sigh. Our chicky nugget is growing up. Wee Baby Elton. She's also a Madonna fan. who knew you could be both? That's one big bath tub! My littlest love got her first tooth! She now has 4!
