Reminisce...: choosing to let go
http://lindathompson.blogspot.com/2013/08/i-am-learning-to.html
Wednesday, August 14, 2013. Choosing to let go. So much has changed over these past two years. And it has pretty much rocked my world. You see my security was a savings account, jobs, etc. And because God is a jealous God, He wants to be my rock. And while it has been a painful process. I am choosing to let Him love me and meet my needs. I am choosing to trust Him for what I can't see. I am choosing to walk by faith. I am choosing to praise Him and thank Him throughout the day. Randy took this iPhone pho...
Reminisce...: Randy's Care Instructions
http://lindathompson.blogspot.com/2015/05/randys-care-instructions.html
Wednesday, June 03, 2015. Thank you so much for caring for Randy. Your time with Randy ministers to me deeply. It’s overwhelming to think you would take time out of your busy Saturday to love and care for my husband. Know that I am always praying it is a special time for you too. I want to give you a few insights into Randy as you care for him on Saturdays. Do not take him to the Art District anymore. Not the appropriate place for him. Memories you shared together. His memory is quite amazing. He wil...
Reminisce...: vintage gingham aprons
http://lindathompson.blogspot.com/2010/04/vintage-gingham-aprons.html
Tuesday, April 20, 2010. My love of gingham aprons started many years ago when I inherited my Grandma Larson's red gingham check apron. Truly a treasured heirloom. I eventually found a yellow one and hung them from the hay hook, next to the lefse turner. Read THIS. Post if you want to know what in the heck a hay hook and a lefse turner is. Embroidery, color hues and size of ric rac vary from apron to apron. All unique, one of a kind, treasured works of art. Be sure to clic each pic and see for yourself).
Reminisce...: the latest
http://lindathompson.blogspot.com/2015/08/the-latest.html
Monday, August 03, 2015. Hinds Feet on High Places. Read it back in the late 70's. So good. So what I needed. Love allegories. Yesterday. Cried and cried at the ending. Remembering those Vietnam POW bracelets in high school. My husband finally got a haircut and shave after a year. Nothing short of a miracle. Dear friends took him to a Barber Shop and he let them. Now he needs his nails done. Like badly. Some of the many effects of frontotemporal dementia. We bought our 2006 van from them 162,000 miles ago.
Reminisce...: this 'n that
http://lindathompson.blogspot.com/2015/05/this-n-that.html
Thursday, May 07, 2015. Blew through 4 seasons of. Have a huge crush on Tom Selleck. I do believe Rumer Has It. My name is Linda Thompson and I'm a box hoarder. I can't let a useful box be destroyed at my job, so I bring it home. My garage is full of empty boxes waiting to be filled. And my van is outside in the sweltering heat. Something is wrong with this picture. The new Jurassic World. Toys just arrived at my store. Just watched the movie trailer and well. freaked me out. He's the best part of my day.

A Believer's Journey: April 2013
http://randythompson.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 28, 2013. There is a calling that God has put on the ones He called and made His own by the blood of His Son. Don’t ever doubt it. Called me to use my talents and the gifts He. Called me no less than He. Did the disciples and Paul. I was chosen before the foundation of the world and I am bound by love and humility to fulfill. Calling on my life. How could I not give everything to the one who gave everything for me. Alone that I do what I do and I know. Has done in my life and what. Is Good,...

Dominique's classroom- all 8th graders- Romane is on the left, 2nd row. Duck a la Orange. Canard. Dominique and Sylvi with all of us.
Time Turns Fragile: October 2006
http://timeturnsfragile.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 12, 2006. Rejuvenate Your Tired Old Jukebox. I've been listening to some new (to me) music lately and thought I would share it with you. I don't feel that I'm some music expert or that my tastes are better than yours but this list of bands may be a little eclectic and isn't for everyone. Here is a list of albums that have been tickling my fancy. Which is kind of sore now. My great friend Josh. Listen to: A Grand Scene For a Color Film, Blueprints for Future Homes. End of The Heartache.
25 Acres: Gentle Melodies on Breezeless Air
http://25acres.blogspot.com/2014/10/gentle-melodies-on-breezeless-air.html
Saturday, October 25, 2014. Gentle Melodies on Breezeless Air. Frisbee flies and football spins over a flood lit field in front of me. Splashes and laughter from a pool behind me. Guitar and gentle melodies over my left shoulder. The air in undetectable. Perfect. It is Saturday night and I am at Grand Canyon University. How I would love to be 20 again and part of the fabric of this place. A skateboarder hitches a short ride at the back of a campus golf cart. My heart fits here, anonymous as I am right now.
Trying to find out if my words have any meaning: Out for a walk, might have taken us 30 minutes to get ready...
http://emolyn.blogspot.com/2013/01/out-for-walk-might-have-taken-us-30.html
Trying to find out if my words have any meaning. Just some crap I wrote down about feelings and junk. Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Out for a walk, might have taken us 30 minutes to get ready. Out for a walk on my day off Monday. Emolyn with her new "training wheel bicycle" as she calls it. We love living in our new neighborhood, while on our walk Shannon came out and snapped our photo since we look like a train. Not taken in front of our house. How I love my ergo. Down the road & back again...: May 2010
http://nanhann.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Down the road and back again. Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Quick Overview of our Bosnia Trip so far. I don't have time to caption all of my photos right now, but if you're interested in seeing an overview, check out this slideshow below from my Picasa page. Terry's harmonica and mandolin have been a big hit with everyone. This seems to reveal itself most often in their dry sense of humor when they're performing. The Bosnians weren't going to tell us, but it kind of slipped out at lunch the other day....Check...
