For two years I lived in a solitary little pink house on my mountain in rural El Salvador, and without these people I never would have made it. A big thank you to my surrogate family, who took care of me when I was sick, watched over me when I was alone, and who stood beside me when I needed help. In search of my next adventure. Just a few hours later, I got a call! I had decided not to go around telling everyone I know about my decision to join the PC until I had an official nomination. Then, earlier this week, one of my friends posted something (very brief) on my Facebook wall asking if I had heard. Of course, I’ve now gotten messages from about 5 friends asking about it. Oh well. I don’t have anything super fancy, but its a pretty expensive luxury for someone on a non-profit salary and I don’t know that it is worthwhile. December 6th, 2010 – get email from NY Regional office informing me paperwork is in the mail, and that we can schedule an interview after I’ve submitted it. December 8th, 2010 – receive paperwork (background check and fingerprinting info). December 10th, 2010 – mail paperwork back. January 3rd, 2011 – Interview online. 8211; Received medical packet.

Well, there isn’t much backtracking to do. I got home from work today (worked a half day, I’ve been very sick w/the flu and took the last 2 days off) and checked my email, and there it was. Where pencils fly amuck. New Website is almost Finished! Lindseyjunkins.com is almost finished! Well I have been chipping away at it all weekend and I am almost done my webpage. All I have left now is my logo! Oh and a couple of page clean ups, but besides that I am extremely happy with my self.
