Life in the Hills, Come and Chill…. Is this Gin Heaven? Gin and Tonic Cupcakes? Don’t mind if I do! June 10, 2015. June 10, 2015. Conscious as I am that this appears to have become a blog about gin this week, I figured I may a well just carry on with this trend until Saturday which is the day the world celebrates gin in all its glory. I promise I will shut up about all things juniper thereafter (for a day or two at least). The recipe makes 6 decent-sized cupcakes, would stretch to 9 though! Cupcake cases...

Monthly Archives: July 2015. Saisons in the Sun. July 26, 2015. Now the weather has just turned inclement, I think back with nostaligia to the hot weather of early July. I’ve really enjoyed drinking chilled saisons during the humid heat in the last few weeks and have brewed a saison at home in May. I wanted to learn more about this beer style. Here’s a glass of my own saison that I enjoyed to keep refreshed whilst watching the Wimbledon final. The base malts are Pils and Vienna and Munich malt and some w...
