Skip to main content. Skip to secondary content. Change in the small stuff. Mae Mae’s Makings. January 28, 2013. It has been a couple weeks since I’ve posted because we’ve been busy moving…yes it finally happened…we have left the “commune” aka “my parent’s house.” We moved to a five unit town house complex situation down by the beach. I’m extremely grateful to have our own space and begin to get settled. Laquo; BE THANKFUL. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public).

In both instances the gestures weren’t grand and I could’ve managed without the help but it did lighten my load for a moment at the expense of their own time and comfort. I think many times I either miss receiving or giving simple gestures because I am so concerned with my own needs. It was a great reminder that it takes less than a minute to help someone else out. 2 thoughts on “ Doors. Notif...

Skip to main content. Skip to secondary content. Change in the small stuff. Mae Mae’s Makings. April 29, 2013. As we got ready to go have dinner at my parents which was probably the first time I’ve celebrated my birthday with my parents in over six years…that in itself is something…Levi (my son) brought me over a sweatshirt to help him put on. I hadn’t seen it before and asked where is this from, Levi told me it was from Mae Mae. It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.

Nothing special
Looked through the paper. Makes you want to cry. Nobody cares if the people live or die. And the dealer wants you thinking That it’s either black or white. Thank God it’s not that simple In My Secret Life. Vrijdag 9 oktober 2009. Soms woedt er een storm in mijn hoofd. Zo eentje die alles verandert. De wind blaast alle mooi geordende gevoelens en gedachten door elkaar, en legt goed verstopte angsten weer bloot. Wat overblijft is chaos. Donderdag 27 augustus 2009. In het diepste van mijn ziel. December 30, 2016. It seems like the multitudes are waiting for 2016 to end and to start fresh with 2017. For many 2016 was the year everyone hoped to forget. I disagree. My feelings are subjective because I know 2016 was unpleasant for a large populace and there was a lot of hurting around the world. However, outside of being barraged by constant political ranting, 2016 has been a pretty good year, for me. For us. How each thing is a thread in the evolving story? Happy New Year, Friends! People we would...

Saturday, January 20, 2018. January 8, 2018 WE MADE IT! The 0500 meet up at the airport was certainly early, but everyone was able to get through the check-in process efficiently. We had some great American Airlines employees helping us check in our 30 bags filled with everything from medications and toilet paper to jock straps and toothbrushes. And miracle #1 was that we did not have to pay for our bags! A few people followed in a van. We safely arrived at Willem’s home! We are going to move extra effic...
