Aug 26th, 2010. Okay so this was actually my last meal before I moved to Chicago.maybe it's ironic that I had a steak before I moved to the Midwest, but damn if it wasn't an amazing steak. You should definitely eat at Doe's. King filet and hand cut fries. Medium rare done right. It was like butter in my mouth. Posted at 05:38 pm. Aug 16th, 2009. I used to order food to-go from the College Drive location.that was easily 8 years ago, so we'll ignore that for now. It's located at the corner of Jefferson and Lobdell, between Baskin Robbins and Little Wars, which I assume is a gaming thing. Cafe Americain really has some amazing food (even if the name is stupid and not at all representative of the cuisine). Posted at 12:37 am.
