Lundeen's Tackle Castle is at the southwest corner of Mille Lacs Lake, 3 miles north of Onamia at the junction of Hwys 169 and 27 east. From long line snells to crankbaits to slip bobber rigs, we'll set you up with whatever you need. If walleyes aren't your "fish du-jour," we also carry a complete line of Northern, Muskie and Smallmouth Bass tackle. M-F 6AM-8PM (later on Fridays). Telephone hours 8AM-6PM please. The Mille Lacs Lake area is home to some of the finest fishing Minnesota has to offer. Mille Lacs is known as the walleye capitol of Minnesota. It is also gaining respect for it's trophy muskie and smallmouth bass fishing. Located approximately 90 minutes north of the Twin Cities metro area, Lake Mille Lacs has long been renowned as Minnesota's premier walleye fishery.
