Ma and Pa Salisbury. If you want to know what true love is.look at us. Monday, July 27, 2009. The Cabin That Brent and Jake Built. After 10 days of hard work, it's really taking shape! The tall wall in the above photo took 3 tries to get it up. When it fell the 2nd time, it barely missed hitting all of them. (There are 2 other guys helping with the framing.) Their angels were very busy that day! Their accomodations are the garage of the cabin. But, it has an entertainment center! I love being a Grandma!

Well.until I stop to think about it. Then it amazes me how much has happened and it does seem like we've been together forever. I don't mean that in a bad way. It's just most of my life. Seems like not that long ago that she came into my life and made me a Grama. She is our first. Her Papa was in Iraq when she was born, so I got her all to myself for the first 5 months of her life. Mother's Day weekend is traditionally spent in Elsinore and this year was no exception. The weather has been crazy this Spring, but it cooperated completely on Saturday so that we could get some riding in and take Grandpa out for Chinese. Brent's birthday was Saturday, so we celebrated at the Assisted Living Center with cake and Phase 10. It was a wonderful weekend. Sunday, May 23, 2010.
