Wednesday, September 9, 2009. Sunday, September 6, 2009. Anecdotes 1 and 2. Every summer my Dad would take me and my sister to go out camping and jet skiing. He put much effort into doing things for us. Such as taking control of all the packing and unpacking. I look back and realize he did it most himself. he worked most of the time, so it was nice to have those few days with just him. He always made time for his kids. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). McGuy, Rachel: Huck Finn
http://rachel-mcguy.blogspot.com/2011/01/huck-finn.html
Wednesday, January 5, 2011. In my opinion the word "nigger" should stay in the book. It is a high school book, which we should be mature enough to know not to say that to others. Even though it's offensive, there are other words that could be worse or just the same to other races, and we read and say them all the time. The movie had no effect on me what so ever on my opinion.
