8th Oct. Thursday. Left this morning and decided to go the country roads again-much more pleasant, less traffic better scenery. We went through Culcain, produces cement, and had morning tea in town rest area. Went on to Wagga Wagga and planned on going to the RAAF Museum at the base but ' closed for refurbishing' So just took a photo for Jordan and Darcy of a big plane. Had lunch on side of road. On our way again. Headed along the smaller roads and tried to dodge the highway traffic we called in to a little historic place called Creswick and after going thru a very interesting museum on the gold rush we had a coffee and cake at a little cafe in the main street.
