Mushahars belong to lowest rung of the caste hierarchy in India. Mostly located in the States of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Poverty keep them away from state-run schools. The children of Malwabar village did not know how to read and write until "KOSHISH SCHOOL" came there to educate them and integrate them in mainstream schools. This year 5 students have joined Class VI in Govt School from Koshish, next year 25 more are preparing. The meaning of "KOSHISH" is to "try".
