A Swing and a Miss…. November 3, 2016. November 3, 2016. I decided that maybe I should play some softball. My Dad was excited, or maybe terrified, as he signed up to coach a group of preteen girls who had been assigned to the team The Moody Blues. We heard our name at the first practice and decided that we hated it and wanted a change. We hit a stumbling block when the hats had already been ordered with a giant MB on the front. We would not be deterred. My Dad became the head coach of the Maniac Babes.

June 20, 2016. I saw this picture the other day, and it took me back to my childhood in the 1980’s when swing sets were made of metal and not wood (and costs a fraction of the price.). Only it made me think–Not my swing-set, not my Daddy. My Dad was the kind of father who never would of let the swing set lift up. Nope. He dug the hole and cemented those poles into the ground. Thursday, July 5, 2012. Everyday nothings (3yrs 2 mo). Ok, I wrote this in May but forgot to post. It's July, but who's counting? I'll post it anyway. (Now, I really should get busy on a July post). I walked in on a "failed" nap day (it's occasional they actually nap now) and quite often find naked babies in their cribs. I ask the dumb question "Why are you naked? And they respond "Puz, I took my cwothes off." Oh,. Haha, I wonder who she gets that from! Oh how Jacob needs his sister! What a great big sis!
