Tuesday, August 29, 2006. My aunt (mother's sister) passed away a few days ago (allah yir7amha) and it was a sudden thing. she was in her 60s and she never complained from any sickness until a heart attack claimed her. The ironic thing about death is the way people react to it. the first question is, "was she sick? If the answer is yes you see this weird look of ashamed relief on people's faces .because they think. "ok i am not sick. so i am somehow 'safe' from death". May god be with all of us.

Saturday, April 14, 2007. So after complaining and complaining about the unfair situation I was facing at work. I finally decided to do something about it. Although I have to say when asked about my old job I still talk about the place like I belong there and then rephrase to remind myself I no longer work there. but that I am here. Sunday, May 06, 2007. Three weeks on the new job so far and I am enjoying it. I go through moments of sheer panic at the thought that I not only need to know how to do my job, but I also need to know the job that my team is doing. It’s a whole new ball game being in a management position. Especially in a different organization and in a different area to the one I am experienced in. But so far I am loving it. Wednesday, December 13, 2006. It's been over a month since my last post and when i tried to post my blog was blocked for some reason by omantel. Oh well all is working now. Work was hectic and i was planning a 5 day business trip to Bahrain. It was my first visit to Bahrain. My son unfortunately stayed behind and I missed him alot. Our first night away he wouldn't sleep and my mother in law along with the house maid had to take him out for drive in the car at 2 am to get him to sleep! 2) we were at seef.

Wednesday, January 17, 2007. Yesterday was my cousin's engagement party (father's brother's son). I got a call on Friday. Inviting me to the engagement. and when i asked where it was. i was told to go to this hall. i was like OK. So yesterday i passed by my mother and sister and we went to hall.
