Sunday, June 28, 2009. What Did You Do Today? On Wednesday I took the kids over to the Navy Rec Center on Solomon's Island. We still have MWR privileges for another year so we're gonna use them. The Rec Center is awesome. The pool has two water slides that are too big for my boys and a pool that is the perfect size for them.it ranges from 1 1/2 feet deep to 4 feet deep and its surrounded by lounge chairs for moi! Monday, September 9, 2013. We had another great weekend! I'll start at the beginning. Saturday we made waffles and then headed out early to get to the music store before it turned into (a really crowded place). Max chose to play baritone this year. Fourth grade is the first year they can choose a wind instrument. Nolen hasn't played anything yet but told the music teacher he wanted to play flute. I'm not sure how he came up with that! Monday, March 22, 2010. Checking out a setup and robot from the FIRST Tech Challenge. Playing with a Lego Mindstorm robot. Don't tell Nolen, but Ed wants to get him a Mindstorm set for his birthday so they can build it together. Thursday, September 3, 2009. I love dip. I love to make dip, eat dip and share it with my peeps. So when I saw BooMama's "Diptacular", I couldn't NOT participate. What better way to find a bunch of new dip recipes? So here are my favorites:. 1 1b sausage (I use the Jimmy Dean sage one). 1 box frozen broccoli. 2 c sweet onions, chopped. 2 c Swiss, grated. Mix together and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve with Wheat Thins. 1 large or 2 small cans of chicken. 2 8 oz blocks of cream cheese, softened.

Saturday, June 20, 2009. Today we went to cheer Brandon on while he competed in his first triathalon. It was right here on Ft Rucker and he did great. We had a really good time even though we had to get up at 4am and it was rather warm. Luckily we were home by 10:30 so the real heat hadn't even begun.
