March 5, 2010. The Big Snow 2010. This past February, we were blessed with lots of snow. This storm wasn't as big as one I remember when I was a kid, but we had two storms almost back to back. the first one dumped about 8-10 inches, the second about 4 days later gave us another 2 feet. January 4, 2009. After Christmas, the whole family piled into the 15 passenger van and we drove to Georgia to spend time with Mike's brother Kit and his family. It was a wonderful, entirely too short visit. We left Saturday night and drove thru the night, arriving shortly after 1pm on Sunday. My brother, Andy, house-sat while we were gone. (Thanks Andy! March 18, 2010. Austin was so excited! Rosebud (the momma) is part his, so he was out with Mike as soon as he got home from school, helping with anything and everything. He even ended up getting two baths cuz when Mike got home from class and went out in the dark with Mike Jr. to arrange a separate pen for Mom and baby, Austin trudged out, too, getting muddy in the process. Rosebud is a small cow, as you can see in this pic, and her baby is just tiny, too! After all, one of the girls in. March 5, 2010.

October 7, 2008. A couple of weeks ago, Mike's dad had gotten a cute little cricket hat for Carolynn. Of course, Carolynn being herself, she wanted nothing to do with the hat. She doesn't wear hats. You put them on, she pull. S them off. The queen must not like the way they feel or something, I don't know. Anyway, Carolynn didn't seem to want to wear the hat, but I think all of her brothers have worn it at some point in time. I have even. Worn it to try to get her to wear it! She is such a goof ball!

April 29, 2009. Austin and the animals. Austin has been bugging me forever to get pictures of the animals for him for school. I took them awhile ago, but can't print them out because our printer is malfunctioning, so I told him I'd try to post them on the blog and then he could have people see them that way. August 5, 2009. July 7th thru 14th the kids and I flew out to Utah to visit with Mike's side of the family. Mike came out for only a few days during the middle of that time due to his classes.
