Melee in the Malay. Eric and Sarah's month-long sojourn in Southeast Asia. Sunday, August 2, 2009. We also spent a great deal of time in a Pho stupor along the backpacker alley of the old quarter of the city. The delicious soup is served in every small cafe and runs about US$1 for a huge bowl. We ate it perched on kindergarten sized stools drinking Tiger beers almost as big as the stools themselves. It was pretty hard to beat. Despite not wanting to return, we can't wait to see and speak to everyone soon!
