An ode to drummers. Drummers are an underrepresented bunch in the annals of concert photography. They’re tucked away behind a bunch of shiny metal cymbals and more often than not, ignored by photographers for their more flamboyant band mates. Somehow, I think this suits them just fine. Participating in the democratic process. This weekend I attended the NDP leadership convention in Toronto. As a delegate, I was there primarily to vote for a new leader to succeed the late Jack Layton as the leader of the official opposition party. However, I couldn’t resist bringing along my camera and documenting some of the sights of my first large political event. A few months ago I expressed to my friend Melissa that I was interested in following in her footsteps and enrolling in the Photojournalism program at Loyalist College. Lundi 15 décembre 2008. Mon séjour en Oz d'achève. Me voilà à la maison, la "vraie" maison à Tahiti. j'ai passé 4 mois 1/2 superbes à visiter les différents paysages que ce pays offre. Si vous avez l'occasion, allez en Australie! Retour à la réalité, enfin, bientôt, lorsque je me retrouverai dans un bureau chez Thalès pour 6 mois dans la banlieue parisienne! A few weekends ago I took a solo hike across the Grande Cr. Te des Vosges (cr. Te is the French word for mountain ridge). What a glorious day it was! It was an easy 25 or so kilometers from start to finish with around 900 m of elevation gain (that kicked my butt). Enjoy a few of my favorite photos from the hike below. September 2, 2014.
