Adventures of a city girl roaming the desert. Hiking Devil’s Bridge. March 20, 2014. A great hike in Sedona. Devil’s Bridge is not as much about the journey as it is the destination. Once you arrive, you will love the stunning views and be amazed at your bravery of not only standing on a natural bridge that juts out over the red rocks of Sedona, but the perseverance it takes to get there. This is a photo op of a lifetime. Walking out takes some guts at first, but it wears off after about 10 seconds. ...

Adventures of a city girl roaming the desert. 12 Years and Counting. November 4, 2013. Today, is a very important day in Arizona history. Not only did the Arizona Diamondbacks win the World’s Series on November 4, 2001, but I moved to Phoenix from Chicago on that very same day. As a die hard Cubs fan, I find this fact particularly ironic, but definitely a sign of good things to come! Gettin’ Wild in Cave Creek. 10 Books Every Arizonan Should Read →.
