Friday, March 23, 2018. Day16 (3/16) Going Home! We are currently in the Hong Kong airport for a 6 hour layover and it’s a great airport to be stuck in! It’s so clean and has computer and tablet stations where Mason is making friends and playing games and a cute kids TV area with short chairs and cartoons playing for kids. The city looks amazing with mountains in the background and we saw the ocean as we were landing. I’d love to come someday and actually see the city! It was so good to finally be home!

Saturday, June 2, 2012. Addie and Mason ran in a quarter mile fun run that was held after the Taste of Louisville Half Marathon. Addie was very excited to run like mommy. I think Mason was most excited about the pre-race stretches. Addie was a champ. She ran hard the whole way and did great! Mason used up his energy on a false start and lost steam quickly. He was refreshed after mommy carried him a bit and we repeated this cycle until he finished as well. Run like an animal". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Saturday, January 21, 2012. Addie's "Taylor Swift Stage". So one day I was talking with Addie about what she wanted to do that afternoon; color, watch a movie, ride her scooter? She replied "Will you build me a stage like Taylor Swift, with a big red curtain so I can get ready behind it and then come and sing? I was doubtful but with Kassie's encouragement I decided to take on the task (not that afternoon but as a Christmas present). We have the setup (a little less grand than Taylor Swift). Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Halloween, Yo Gabba Gabba Style. This year we were a family of Yo Gabba Gabba Characters.so fun! Mason was Plex, Addie was Foofa, Mommy was mommy Foofa (Toodee wasn't available) and Daddy was DJ Lance Rock. Addie even won cutest costume at school. I just love that my kids still enjoy the cute and fun costumes, since we will not be allowing the scary or gory in our home. If you didn't already know, Addie has the most fun Daddy ever! He brought her to school like this :).

Sunday, July 24, 2011. We finally took the girls camping this summer, it was a blast! They played in the dirt, went fishing, roasted marshmallows for smores, rode their bikes and slept in the tent! We were lucky to be able to go with a big group of neighbors, so there was lots of kids for the girls to play with and they could ride their bikes around the loop for hours!
