Middle East by Midwest. A shift in culture and perspective. October 20, 2012. After winding up the hills we finally arrived to the olive grove. This particular grove has been passed down through a family for generations, boasts about 100 trees which provides their livelihood. Our group spent the day with this family assisting in the picking, preparing and jarring of olives. And no gathering in Jordan wouldn’t be complete with a huge meal! I have tried every.single.cup on the market, looking for one that doesn't leak. This is the only one I've found - the Naglene Grip and Gulp. My kids each have one and really, they don't leak! Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Omelettes in a Bag. My mom told me about this super fun, kid-friendly way of making omelettes. We gave it a try this past weekend and it was definitely a success! Fun, tasty, and super easy! Crack 2 or 3 eggs into ziplock bags. Squish eggs around in the bag. Add your favorite omelette ingredients. Close the bag and toss it into a pot of boiling water. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Dining Room Table Re-do. We bought this table from Goodwill for $9.99 a few months ago. This was the picture Justin sent me from Goodwill.should I buy this table for $10? We found the chairs for $2.99 each. Have I mentioned how much I love Goodwill? Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Char's first haircut was last weekend. Oh, so cute, but oh so sad to see those curls go. Truth be told, we were starting to see glimpses of mullet so it was time! Such a big boy! That sucker was the perfect distraction! He was happy to be sitting on mama's lap and stayed mostly still. He is looking (and acting! Like such a big boy these days.
