The Sarions: January 2015
http://sarionfamily.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 5, 2015. Maya, we love you with all our hearts and are so very proud of the person you are becoming. Thanks for making us feel like we did something right as parents :-). She refuses to wear any shirt that does not have "a picture of something" on it. I have a whole drawer full of clothes that she simply won't put on because there are no pictures on them. And this one barely counts because it is more like a pattern than a picture. Her newest fashion statement is two different shoes:.

The Sarions: June 2015
http://sarionfamily.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 20, 2015. The Dads in the family all decided that a lobster party would be fun to celebrate fathers day, so lobster it was! The kids had a great time playing, we managed to pull together a bit of a feast and it was an all around good day. The hammock was a huge hit and I'm pretty sure we had all combination of kids at one point in time:. And of course, the lobster:. A Mommy Laurel Weekend. Shockingly, she is not at all disturbed by seaweed and spent much of her time making seaweed soup.

The Sarions: February 2015
http://sarionfamily.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 26, 2015. Dancing is common in our house - especially for Laurel. She has her own signature moves and is constantly showing them off. A little video of the two of them demonstrating these moves for me. And no, there is no actual music, just the songs in their heads. Grandma was kind enough to take all 6 kids so we could have a 'Dad and Daughter' ski day. The weather was gorgeous, there was snow(! And there were no lines so we got in a full day of skiing. So much fun! Many, many snuggles.

The Sarions: November 2014
http://sarionfamily.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 9, 2014. While finishing up dinner, Laurel stuck a straw on her tooth, turned to us and said, "I'm a vampire". After laughing at the sheer randomness Rey told her that a vampire has two teeth and she was missing one. She tried unsuccessfully to get a second one to stick on so said, "OK, I'm a vampire with just one tooth". Which she repeated over and over again for more laughs. Sunday, November 2, 2014. The finished product - not too shabby! Trick-or-Treating. My work did a big Hallow...

Wednesday, August 13, 2014. Her mind is never stops these days and you can tell by the questions she asks while she is trying to settle down for sleep. Most of them start with, what about. she also ask many of them waiting for a laugh, knowing that the question she is asking is funny. What about. we had no bones? What about. you were me and Maya was Daddy and Daddy was Mommy and I was Daddy? What about. we had a pet unicorn that was purple, pink and blue and it cleaned our beds for us? Is it hot or not?

The Sarions: A lost tooth!
http://sarionfamily.blogspot.com/2015/06/a-lost-tooth.html
Thursday, June 18, 2015. She was wishing and hoping that her first tooth would fall out before school ended so she could get her name up on the wall. Lucky for her it happened two days before school was out! She claims she doesn't believe in the tooth fairy, there were a lot of questions about whether or not it was really me. I evaded the question and we left her a coin, but I'm still not sure if she knows it was us. I don't want to ask :-). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Mommy Laurel Weekend.

The Sarions: March 2015
http://sarionfamily.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2015. It is hard to believe that my spunky little girl is already four years old! She has made life SO fun and always keeps us guessing. It has been such an experience to watch her personality grow and to realize how completely different she is than me. Maya is so similar to me that I can usually figure out what she is thinking. Laurel, not so much. It can be a bit challenging, but I am really learning to love the different perspectives. You read books to me! You take me to do fun thin...
