Tuesday, July 21, 2015. It's a beautiful summer day out there. I finished this piece earlier today. It was so much fun to stitch. So bright and cheery! Last Friday I got to spend the day in Rockford with my nieces, Heather and Michelle. Michelle was here from CO with her two little boys. All 4 kids were so much fun. We made cookies and I think the kids liked the cookie dough more than the cookie! Well, I'm going back to stitching. Until next time.Happy Stitching! Congrats on the cute and colorful finish!

Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Second Bobcat showing up. I've stitched quite a bit on this piece, The second bobcat is showing up. Now that I have made progress it's going easier but I will still be glad to have this finished but I'm a long ways from it. Boy the flu really seems to be going around here. I know of at least 4 people from our church that have been struck by it and it doesn't leave too quickly either. Well until next time Happy Stitching. Links to this post. Tuesday, September 16, 2014.

Saturday, February 28, 2015. Good morning. This piece is hot off the iron. It was a quick finish and will be made into a flat fold later this summer. Oh I have to find the instructions for the flat folds somewhere on the internet! Now I'm going to do smaller Daisy Duck and Donald Duck. Then I'm not sure which of 3 pieces I'll work on. Well, I have to think about getting ready for my Uncle's funeral so until next time.Happy Stitching! Links to this post. Monday, February 23, 2015. Links to this post.

Thursday, October 23, 2014. Pulling out some Turtle Trot Pieces Disaster on Bobcat Kittens. I said in my last post I was going to work on some TT pieces after being obsessed with the Bobcats for 2 months! Disaster hit my Bobcat Kittens. I am so upset. I washed and ironed them fine. Saw some creases from the hoop and decided to rewash them. Fatal mistake! It only faded the marks, but did little else. Not only that it frayed the piece! Those Bobcats took 2 months and over 120 hours. There is no time fo...

Saturday, July 25, 2015. I love stitching the flowers from this book. It's the same book Spring Flowers was in. This piece will go to my nephew's wife. She asked me to do a floral piece for her. Last Thurs. we had a picnic and didn't have anyone sign up for anything. Only one person brought a main dish but she made a huge amount and took a lot home. Some people brought salads and other items, and about 5 of us brought deserts, 3 of us made brownines! Welluntil next time.Happy Stitching! Http:/ www.Cr...

It's Daffycat: The Totally Useless Stitch A Long 2015
http://itsdaffycat.blogspot.com/2015/01/the-totally-useless-stitch-long-2015.html
Monday, January 5, 2015. The Totally Useless Stitch A Long 2015. The 2015 TUSAL is launched! Get to stitching and save those ORTs! What is an ORT? ORT or ort Capitalized, it stands for Old Ratty Threads. These are the cast-off thread ends a needleworker cuts away. These ends are often saved in clear jars as a decorative object. The word, "ort" does appear in the dictionary, meaning: a bit of something left over; usually concerning food. Why would you save ORTs and why on earth post a picture on your blog?

Thursday, September 11, 2014. When I conceived the idea of learning to quilt my thoughts were along the lines of, "I have a sewing machine, what else would I need? I mean people have quilted since before sewing machines were even invented, right? I have carpel tunnel so extensive hand sewing is not an option but I have a sewing machine I'm set! My machine is not made to use a walking foot! Dash talked me into buying a new sewing machine when he learned of the problems I was facing. In fact.he sea...This ...
