The Midnight Disciple: October 2008
http://midnightdisciple.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 15, 2008. Taking It To The Streets. One idea I had (I'm not in advertising, but it is sort of fun to think up stuff like this) is to have a billboard that shows an Orthodox altar on the right and the typical Protestant altar (pulpit, stage, etc) on the left. The caption would read, "Which church has watered down the Gospel? I think it would be strikingly clear which one has removed worship elements from the Sunday morning service. Hopefully, it would make people pause and think. Will G...
The Midnight Disciple: Lights Out
http://midnightdisciple.blogspot.com/2009/01/lights-out.html
Tuesday, January 13, 2009. The new year has begun, and with that, time to rethink things. For now, I am turning the lights out on The Midnight Disciple. With lots of church and family activities pressing me for my time, I seem to never have a moment to crank out a good blog. I appreciate those who have checked here regularly, especially those who have taken time to comment. I wish all a happy new year, and if you happen to stumble across this blog, I hope the previous articles are a blessing to you.

The Midnight Disciple: November 2008
http://midnightdisciple.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 28, 2008. Are We Getting Better Yet? Some long-time friends and I have been exchanging emails back and forth about the condition of our world, the New World Order, and UFO's. It all started out so innocently, but then we suddenly became engaged in trying to figure it all out. Being the token religious freak in the group, I added my two cents. And their purpose is to draw us further from God, then again, it aligns well with my statement that Satan rules the affairs of this planet. I have ...
The Midnight Disciple: The Biggest Hang Up With Ancient Christianity
http://midnightdisciple.blogspot.com/2011/08/biggest-hang-up-with-ancient.html
Tuesday, August 16, 2011. The Biggest Hang Up With Ancient Christianity. Almost without exception, when I tell my friends I converted to Orthodoxy, they ask me, "So, do you pray to Mary? If I say I do, then in their minds, I am not really a Biblical Christian. But, is that really true? First of all, do Christians die? But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God, saying, 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? Jesus said to her, "...

On Hiatus | The Path
https://restlessevangel.wordpress.com/2008/03/14/on-hiatus
An evangelical Christian finds beauty, and just maybe, truth in the Eastern Orthodox Church. I never dreamed when I started this blog that I would be so blessed. The feedback I’ve received here has been a gift I will always treasure. I knew this was a danger all along, but I’m surprised by how quickly it has effected me. I am now in a state of profound spiritual depression and feel like I must take a break from my interest/obession with the Orthodox faith. Laquo; The Hardest Part. Date : March 14, 2008.

The radio is wonderful to listen to and the podcast talks are excellent. This is a very good discussion forum full of a wide variety of monks, priests and lay persons, from all across the Orthodox family. A host of information, much like Wikipedia, but entirely about Orthodoxy. Feedback welcome Cancel reply.

A Presbyterian Mystic | The Path
https://restlessevangel.wordpress.com/2008/02/25/a-presbyterian-mystic
An evangelical Christian finds beauty, and just maybe, truth in the Eastern Orthodox Church. Here’s an idea that crops up from time to time. I don’t have to actually become Orthodox. I can continue to attend occasional Vespers services and a Divine Liturgy from time to time, read Orthodox books, take up praying to icons and do other Orthodox type things around the house like burning incense. If only it was that easy. Trying to be a Presbyterian mystic is a recipe for misery. Laquo; Jammin For Jesus.
