S t o n e ~ P i l l a r s: ...shouldn't throw stones

http://miedrichluo.blogspot.com/2009/02/shouldnt-throw-stones.html

You take the stones that life gives you and eat them and they become bread. Sunday, February 01, 2009. And what does she envision it would look like? Now there is some artful food for thought. Posted by Karen Miedrich-Luo. Sunday, February 01, 2009. That's hilarious. Your mother-in-law needs to meet my grandfather. Between the two of them they could probably erect whole cities out of discarded items. 8:46 AM, February 20, 2009. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). On The Great Wall. Books on my shelf.

S t o n e ~ P i l l a r s: We are done! .......... Not.

http://miedrichluo.blogspot.com/2009/05/we-are-done-not.html

You take the stones that life gives you and eat them and they become bread. Tuesday, May 19, 2009. We celebrated with family and friends who have all been a tremendous support during the past four years. We raised a glass of champagne and toasted each other. We took pictures of Brad in his magnificent robe and watched the hooding ceremony. It is over. We are done. My old pappy used to say that his old pappy used to say: It ain't over til the fat lady sings. Posted by Karen Miedrich-Luo. To all of you!

S t o n e ~ P i l l a r s: What Nai Nai Left

http://miedrichluo.blogspot.com/2009/02/what-nai-nai-left.html

You take the stones that life gives you and eat them and they become bread. Wednesday, February 25, 2009. What Nai Nai Left. The day before Nai Nai left America, she brought to me a handful of seventeen pennies and three dimes, many of them corroded or flattened and crushed around the edges. You found these on your creekwalks," I exclaimed. She laughed and waved her hand. "They are no use to me," she said. She wants to go home," Brad said. She says she is bored and has nothing to do. In her suitcase she ...

S t o n e ~ P i l l a r s: Serendipity

http://miedrichluo.blogspot.com/2011/03/serendipity.html

You take the stones that life gives you and eat them and they become bread. Friday, March 11, 2011. Julia Cameron, in her book The Artist’s Way, prefers to call it “synchronicity” - a supernatural event or creative catalyst presenting to artists when they are open to see it happen. At least that’s how I interpret her idea. So I watch with intent; I listen with purpose; I look for the sublime, even if it is rusting metal buried in green, green grass. Paper Trails: Creative Every Day: Nature

http://karenmluo.blogspot.com/2009/05/creative-every-day-nature.html

A sequence reflecting investigation a pursuit. Friday, May 1, 2009. Creative Every Day: Nature. I made a spur of the moment commitment yesterday that will come back to haunt me. I hope. I linked to a blog that challenges artists to be creative every day, in some way. No pressure. Besides, I really really like the website's button that links you to the challenge page. And in November there is a really cool button for doing art every day of November. Just in time for Advent. Liking the results already.

A sequence reflecting investigation a pursuit. Wednesday, February 18, 2009. What Nai Nai Caught. China is not a culture enamored of pets - at least not when compared to the American obsession with making the pet a part of the family. But the Chinese are good at turning just about anything into a pet (or alter ego.) I once asked a class of freshmen, "Who owned pets while growing up? Last night Hannah excitedly ran from the creek and yelled for me to "Come see what Nai Nai caught! Friday, February 13, 2009.

El hombre es esencialmente plantígrado. Dividiremos al miembro inferior en 6 segmentos, que corresponden exactamente a los del miembro superior.
