July 14, 2015. Our Charlie is almost 2 1/2 now, and is as smart as a whip. Charlie is the sweetest little guy ever. He always asking us to "Snuggle for a little while.". July 16, 2015. Family Pictures.Hilariously Accurate. Our family has never taken a great family photo. You could blame us, the photographer, the camera, or fate. April 27, 2015. Singin' in the Rain. A couple weeks ago, Mike came home during the rain because it was raining and he wanted to let the kids try "engineer raincoats." The kids were ecstatic over their garbage bag protection, and played for quite a while out there. And they were adorable. (Charlie was napping, as was I.). The look of adoration is so priceless. And because Charlie is so cute, too. Catching Up Before #4. Here I am on Sunday - little guy has definitely outstayed his welcome. She is too cute.

July 16, 2015. Well, let's see. How am I feeling? Can I tell you how much I hate the term "baby blues"? I mean, seriously? It sounds like, 'Well, after you have your baby you may feel a teensy-weensy weird sometimes. But don't worry, it's super cute to feel this way! February 25, 2015. What's Up With Andrew? What ISN'T up with Andrew? This kid blows me away every day. First and foremost, last night he decided that he wanted to read. So he did! He read a whole book almost by himself with some help. Today I got out some flashcards, and he knew 26 out of the 32 cards. When we went through them again, he got them all. HE GOT THEM ALL! I am so proud of this boy, and I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty proud of me for following my scary inspiration to homeschool him. I love this...

January 26, 2015. She always has been good about accessorizing. Tutus are always appropriate. Yesterday she asked me to put "bones" in her hair. Those would be bobby pins. When cleaning the living room, these glasses are necessary. Daddy came up with a cute idea for the kids. They paint rocks and make animals out of them. I'll have to post the picture of Andrew's completed chameleon. It's really adorable. Emily and Charlie just painted the rocks, but they had such a fun time doing it. January 21, 2015.

July 14, 2015. Our little Emily has decided that she wants to be a big girl. She got so excited when she peeled her own banana. She has had the ability to do these sorts of things for a long time, but has been her stubborn self and has just now decided to do them. She is kind of serious around other people, and super silly around us. She always tries to make us laugh and usually succeeds. Her favorite "funny" thing to say is 'mashed potato' which actually in Emily-ese is "Masha Datato!

March 17, 2015. The Makings of an Artist. I came across this cute little cat he drew at the end of last year. And a whale he drew during his non-drawing period. September 22, 2014. First Activity of the Fall. We went apple picking! I have such fond memories of going to the apple orchards and picking apples in the fall. There's nothing better to kick off the season. We all had a lot of fun. Charlie was not at all interested in picking the apples, but was extremely interested in eating them.
