On a recent trip that took my wife and I through Jackson, we stopped for dinner at Jose’s Tamales and Restaurant. One of our favorite haunts located in Pearl, MS, my hometown. As part of the meal I ordered a plate of their shredded pork tamales covered in chile con carne and cheese and ate them taking a bites of tamale and roasted jalapeno pepper.
