Maddy and I in our attractive 'stinger suits'. Our vessel docked at Whitehaven Beach. Walking the white as white sandy beach. It's not the whitest in Australia but it is right up there. Drive from Charters Towers to Cairns. Wind turbines on the way from Charters Towers to Cairns. Beautiful clear water when the sun is out. Cooling off at Mossman Gorge.

Tuesday, February 21, 2012. There were half a dozen other boats we talked to that had the same outcome which made us feel a bit better about our efforts. Despite the lack of fish, i. T was great scenery, the beers were ice-cold and we spotted a couple of crocs. Dad with the wind in his hair up the front of the boat! Ryan and I kicking back. We put the shade canopy up about 3. Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Swimming in the deep blue with the WHALE SHARKS! Ningaloo Blue Whale Shark Tour. One of the best experiences I have ever had when it comes to getting close to nature. Jim (my boss at the resort). We swam with 3 sharks for the day (about an hour in the water all up). Two 3-3.5m whale sharks, and an 8-9m one. Anyway , I'll let the pictures do the talking. Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Back up north after a Christmas spell in Vic. I managed to get my mug in the local rag a couple of times before Christmas. Cyclone Grant was all the talk while we were away, but it was a non-event for Darwin. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. We packed up and left Mandurah on the 21st of April, and left the comfort of the Chambers' home behind. We are both very grateful to Steve, Di, Megan and Ben for putting a roof over our heads for so long. Salty (dog) will not be missed as much, with his constant barking and the killing of Maddy's canary :-). Di, Steve, Megan, Ben and Maddy on the morning of our departure.
