Next Event: June 7th 2016. A Scottish Watercolour Experience. Alan Hepburn returns to look at one of his favourite subjects - Scottish artists. Tonight he will speak about the well-known Victorian artists William Russell Flint (best known for his 'breastscapes'! And Arthur Melville now mostly remembered for his Orientalist subjects. We have arranged a morning visit by coach to the Foundling Museum (a follow-up to our January talk) with a guided tour to learn more about the connections with Hogarth, Handel et al, followed by lunch there. The Molesey Campaign - The Boundary Issue

The Case for Boundary Change. An invisible line was drawn without reference to voters in 1991. This line has become a barrier to regeneration of Molesey in the area west of the division. This line was drawn at the request of politicians and there is no record of why. Local people protested and were ignored. The reason this line was drawn line no longer matters. When the line was drawn one thousand homes were cast out of East Molesey and eighty eight per cent of them were in Hurst Park. The Case for Change.
